Berry Street are going to be delivering the FFT Reflective Workshop to all staff in their residential therapeutic service and will be evaluating its use and effectiveness. We are very excited to be part of this and wish them all the best!

5th Feb 2014  Integrating Food for Thought into the  Work of the Care Inspectorate, Children’s Services Development Day for the Care Inspectorate, Dundee.

Dr Florian Esser from Hildesheim University visited SASS for a week in January 2014 to begin dialogue about possible research collaborations regarding child welfare, food practices and residential care. As a result of this, a post-doctoral application to the German Academic Exchange Service was successful and he will spend one year working with the Food For Thought team on a post-doctoral project from 1 September 2014 – 31 August 2015.

We are delighted to announce that the FFT team have been joined by Katrina Roszynski who is a PhD student awarded an  ESRC-funded Scottish Graduate School Doctoral Training Centre. As part of Katrina’s research she will be looking  at the impact of Food for Thought.
