Food for Thought project – Introduction

This project will apply the findings of an ESRC funded research project (rated outstanding) entitled Food Practices in an Institutional Context: Children, Care and Control (referred to as FaCS – Food and Care Study) .

The aim of this project is to develop a self sustaining training and assessment package for use by people directly caring for looked after children. The package will use food and food practices as medium though which key issues of care can be explored and/or implemented.
